Lasco® Bathware Features New Residential and Assisted Care Sectionals
Four-Piece Design Provides Simple Solutions, Easy Installation for Boomer's Remodeling Surge

Anaheim, Calif. – According to a Harvard University study, baby boomers are the driving force behind the home remodeling upsurge, responsible for more than 50 percent of the one-quarter trillion dollar home improvement industry. In response, Lasco Bathware developed contemporary, multi-piece showers, offering convenient, safe and stylish remodeling solutions-built with the boomer in mind. The new bath fixtures can be previewed at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC) in San Francisco, June 21-23, booth #N5825.

The design-inspired residential four-piece showers fit standard 5-foot or 4-foot alcoves and are ideal for bathers requiring a low threshold for easy entry-an important Universal Design consideration. Two new showers for commercial needs meet ADA-code regulations (when fully equipped) and feature a barrier-free or low threshold, wider openings and a stylish diagonal tile design. "With the remodeling surge and growing need for accessible, multi-piece fixtures, our new residential and commercial use showers provide yet another viable option for renovation and Universal Design projects," said Fred Adams, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Lasco Bathware.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Installation Made Easy The new four-piece design is created with lighter weight and less bulky sections for easy maneuverability through doorways and tight spaces. The patent-pending front-installation system simplifies bath remodel projects.
  • More Space and Less Damage The new sectionals pack in two boxes for more convenient handling and stackable storage, a great benefit for wholesale distributors looking to maximize warehouse space. Additionally, unlike one-piece units, sectional units can be installed closer to the finishing stage of a new construction project, avoiding possible damage due to prolonged exposure on the job site.
  • A Lifetime of Quality The showers have a durable high-gloss gelcoat finish that is easily maintained and will look like new for the life of the product. Installed fixtures are also easy to repair if they sustain surface blemishes.
  • Stylish Accessibility To enhance the showering experience, the fixtures feature optional seating, foot ledge and toiletry shelves-with a chic, non-institutional look. A stylish grab bar has increased reinforcement to support weight loads up to 300 lbs. The ADA showers featuring realistic, decorative details are ideal for creating a contemporary look when renovating hospitals, assisted care facilities, and resorts or hotels.
