LASCO Bathware Launches Consumer-Friendly Website


July 23, 2003 - Following the release of The Complete Works, Lasco Bathware's first-ever completely consolidated, 112-page product catalog introduced in early 2003, Lasco Bathware is launching a new Website today that complements the look and feel of the redesigned product literature. In addition to creating an emotional appeal that consumers will enjoy, the new site provides improved navigational access and usability.

While the former Lasco Bathware Website was revamped less than two years ago, its overall presentation did not reflect the company's recent brand shift. Formerly promoted as "America's Bathtub Company," Lasco now presents a distinct brand message created to reach beyond trade audience awareness. According to Fred Adams, Vice President of Marketing for Lasco Bathware, the new "Good Clean Fun" tagline "is based on the "playful" positioning that bathing is fun for everyone. Essentially, the message creates a positive, emotive association with our wide range of bath products-from the practical to the luxurious-giving us a good basis for moving in the direction of consumer marketing."

By incorporating upbeat lifestyle images, contemporary bathroom environments, and other brightly colored graphics, the new site evokes a sense of joy and fun. The homepage reflects the new branding while providing a simplified presentation of the site content. Product search pull down menus listed by size and category, allow users to access product information nearly instantaneously. Added features include:

  • Three separate navigational menus throughout the site to facilitate ease of use;
